How lovely .... a Home Made thank you Jam Jar!
Here is one fabulous recipe for you
RHUBARB JAM
2 kg / 4 1/2 lb rhubarb, trimmed and chopped
1 kg / 2 1/4 lb sugar (better if brown!)
grated rind of 1 orange
Put the rhubarb in a bowl add the sugar, cover and leave to stand for 2 hours. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, bring to the boil and cook, stirring constantly for about 30 minutes. To see if it is done, pour a little of the mixture on to a small plate. If it slides slowly, the jam is almost ready. Stir in the orange rind and cook for a further 5minutes. Ladle into warm, sterilised glass jars and leave to cool, then seal. Store n a cool dry place. Personalise with label and thank you card! cover the lid with a coloured material and secure with matching ribbon!

How sweet it is to be loved by you...
I've seen chocolate bar favors before, but these ones I've found here are definitely my favourite. Not to mention they're super easy to craft, all you need is some pictures you heart, a good printer, a cutter, glue and...your favorite chocolate bars (mine are here...).
If you're looking for a little DIY touch for your wedding, they're simply perfect.
...and if you are nuts over chocolate, be inspired by this
(oh love!)

Wedding inspiration - Vintage tea cups
Hi there! Hope you had a nice week end! I thought I share with you something definitely nice to start our week together.
What about those lovely, colorful, delicate, sometimes chipped but always soooo cute vintage tea cups to decorate your wedding reception?
And what about give them to your guests as a wedding favor? I'd love it!
They're easy to find and most of the time they're even cheap, all you need is a flea market and some time to enjoy it!

My Sweetest Weedding Favors
Waiting for Patty to get back from Thailand I decided to look into some sweet treats for whoever is left behind working in the city (me!!)... they are also lovely treats for your wedding guests.
Here is a selection of the sweetest favors of the moment (in my opinion!)... fresh fruits for a June wedding, Conti Confetteria and its precious boxes, Ladurée's sugared almonds and macaroons and finally melts' hot chocolate collection!! I'd definitely go for the macaroons, I love the liquorice ones, and the vanilla ones, and the orange flowers ones, ok... I love them all!

Burlap save the date
First of all, sorry I didn't post yesterday but I've been literally moving my house from a room to another. And, at a certain point, I couldn't even tell where my computer was. Anyway I've found the perfect save the date for a rustic wedding like the one I posted two days ago. A burlap little bag giving a little taste of the wedding atmosphere. I've found this one on Style me pretty and I think it's adorable!

Cupcake bouquet
Have a look a these cupcakes, they're perfect, they look so beautiful, they could be used as the sweetest of bouquet for a bridal shower or as a favor even for a very elegant wedding venue. Dont' you think?
See you on Monday, this week end I'll be home alone practicing on cupcakes!

I wish you a happy week end!

More about Winter Weddings
I like using colourful lights to create sophisticated atmospheres, a different colour for each moment of the day
Tulips are just my favourite flowers! So simple and so beautiful! They are also quite versatile as they can be used for elegant or more country settings. They colours are so bright and pure. For a winter setting I suggest to use only white ones, but sometimes also the red ones can work well.
Mini cakes.. mon amour! Placed on a multilevel plate just look amazing. Just talked to your bakery and ask them to prepare a couple as a sample (you wouldn’t be able to do that with a big traditional cake!) and then browse antique markets to find the perfect plate... porcelain, glass or silver ones work very well!
For a Christmas wedding you cannot get away without favors! With all the money spent on a weddings there are 2 things you must never forget: a little present for your guest and the thank you note afterwards!
It doesn't have to be expensive, it can be personal like a poems book or a CD, it could be funny or luxury. Do it the way you like it but do it!
