Vintage Wedding Inspiration

Oh, I love twine...  look at these pictures and see how easy is to create a theme out of some inexpensive twine. Wrap it around some old jars and use them as centrepiece, match it with a burnt colour satin ribbon to tighten your bouquet or use it as a support for your seating chart... easy, isn't it?

Some more Audrey...

This Givenchy’s creation for  Funny Face is my daily inspiration. The key points of this vintage wedding dress is the short length, clean silhouette, and the volume. This is perfect for a romantic and natural looking bride.
Modern day Giambattista Valli designed a gorgeous dress similar in nature for his Spring 2009 collection, this is perfect for a winter wedding

Lucky bride

Weather is definitely stealing the scene this week...I think this week-end brides are going to be LUCKY.
Here in Italy they say if you get married on a rainy day, then you're going to be a lucky bride and live happily ever after. Well, I bet every spring bride longs for a warm and sunny day, but if your wish is not coming true...you're definitely lucky because you can use those a-m-a-z-i-n-g vintage umbrellas! I bet your wedding pics are going to have that special detail that makes the difference.
Don't you agree?

A totally different wedding car

What a nice Monday in Milan today!
The bright light outside my window reminds me that spring is finally here and I definitely love spring weddings, filled with sun and so romantic details.
Imagine your wedding party in a Villa on an Italian lake, or in enchanting Ischia or - then again - in the historic centre of Rome.
Imagine those tiny roads leading you to an ancient little Church or to your wedding venue.
For short distance rides on a bright sunny day, one of the most original ideas to make your way around is an Ape Car or a vintage Vespa.
That's a picture I took at my friend's wedding, last spring. There she is, getting out a decorated Ape Car: unconventional, lovely and so romantic!
